The Shimano Ultegra SPD-SL pedals have a wide yet lightweight carbon body that provides you with a large shoe contact area to maximise power transfer and support whilst reducing weight, while its low profile design increases road clearance for increased confidence when slicing through corners. Featuring a 10mm body height from axle centre to cleat contact surface, the PD-R8000s possess a large binding target, allowing for quick engagement, while its open design allows for easy access and cleat adjustment.
With its stainless steel body plates, the pedals are incredibly durable and will deliver you with efficient pedalling for years to come. Also featuring a low maintenance sealed cartridge axle unit, the pedals can accommodate three different types of cleats: fixed, 3 degrees of float in each direction, or 3 degrees of float from a front-centre pivot.
