We have an option for you to donate to Mind whilst making your hire booking.Our cycle hire centre at Everards Meadows, Leicester, is located directly opposite Fosse Shopping Park with easy access from the M1 and M69. With traffic-free trails straight from the hire centre which link up to Route 6 of the National Cycle Network you can explore Leicestershire's rolling countryside, or pedal straight into Leicester City Centre and visit the local shops and attractions!

Our Leicester hire fleet includes standard mountain bikes, comfortable hybrid bikes, electric bikes, tandems and kids’ bikes. We also hire child seats, buggies, comfy gel saddle covers and helmets.
Our hire bicycles are brand new, current season models from premium brands, all expertly maintained so you can enjoy the ride all day long. We’ve hired over 1 million bikes since 1981, so you know you are in safe hands.

At Everards Meadows you can enjoy miles of peaceful traffic-free cycling along brand new waymarked cycle paths, or take the Great Central Way and explore the city of Leicester by bike.
When you arrive, we’ll give you a map and talk you through the waymarked route options, including shorter family-friendly routes, taking in kids' play areas and cafes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if we need to cancel our online booking?
No problem – just contact the store at least 24 hours beforehand, and we’ll transfer your booking to another day of your choice (subject to availability).
Can I hire a buggy, trailer or child seat and have it fitted to my own bicycle?
Unfortunately we are unable to hire these add-on items on their own. They can only be fitted to our hire bikes.
Do you offer any other concessions?
- We offer a 10% discount off cycle hire to NUS students and OAPs (aged 65+)
- Please present suitable photo ID – we are unable to give discount without it
- Available every day, except Bank Holiday weekends. Not in conjunction with any other offer
Can we pay for cycle hire in cash?
We ask all hirers to pay by credit or debit card – this is a condition of our insurance.
What is the minimum age to go cycling alone?
Age 16. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
How do I redeem a cycle hire voucher code?
- Cycle hire voucher codes may only be redeemed on online hire bookings, via www.rutlandcycling.com/hire
- Promotional codes may not be available at certain times as per their terms and conditions
